Ashley Darby is an American performer and TV personality. She was made famous by winning Miss District of Columbia 2011. The Real Housewives of Potomac is a show that has the actress as a regular cast member since January 2016. Ashley Darby's interests include philanthropy and hospitality as well as holistic health. Ashley is a Maryland native who has an enviable image. Her upbringing was marked by incredible determination. Being the most senior child in her family, Ashley was a teenager who had to work multiple jobs to help support her mother who was a single parent and the younger siblings. At the age of 18, Ashley attended University of Maryland while bartending on the side. This allowed her to keep a steady income for herself and family. In terms of her professional career, Ashley is a television professional by trade. At first, Ashley worked as a bartender to provide financial assistance. Similar to 2011, she was crowned Miss District of Columbia and won her title. The following years she participated in Miss America and even though she was not crowned Miss America she won a $5000 award.
