Annie Mist Thorisdottir, a professional CrossFit athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She is the co-owner of Crossfit Reykjavik where she also instructs and trains. Annie is the sole woman ever to win the CrossFit Games two times. In 2010, she placed 2nd. Annie Thorisdottir, an Icelandic weightlifter, is also an avid CrossFit athlete, is also a celebrity media personality. She has won the CrossFit Games 2011 and 2012 two times as the first woman to win. Also, she is known for having won Dubai Fitness Competition in both 2013 and 2017. Annie was raised with her family living in Reykjavik Iceland. From a very young childhood, Annie was a huge sports enthusiast and loved working out. Many medals were awarded to her in school competitions. In 2009 she took part in CrossFit competitions in California. Her first results were quite impressive. Annie Thorisdottir turns 31 in 2021. In the same year, under Jami's guidance, she took home the gold medal at the CrossFit Games. It was in her second year, she participated in her second CrossFit Games. Due to her outstanding performance, she became the very first female athlete to win CrossFit Games. Annie is the only woman to win successive CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to the extraordinary performance. Besides this in 2014 she took home a silver award and in the year 2021 she won bronze in CrossFit Games. Annie is a coach and trainer for Crossfit Reykjavik. It was her idea. Annie has gained recognition for her athletic skills, has been featured in commercials for sports products such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Nuun Hydration's sidekick Yerbae Renewal Periodization Transparent Labs and many more. She also has her own Youtube channel titled "Annie" and has more than 1,000 followers. This is where she shares videos about training diet, family life as well as travel.
